Role
We are looking for teachers to work on a one to one basis with young people throughout London, teaching in students’ homes and in our Learning Hubs. Our students are typically not suited to mainstream education due to SEN, medical needs, or SEMH. The work is varied, challenging, incredibly rewarding. You will be supported by our office education team, including a QTS teacher who will act as your mentor and well as safeguarding, wellbeing and interventions staff. The goal is to help your student(s) learn creatively, grow socially and achieve academically.

You will need:

Two professional reference checks
Experience working with young people, ideally with SEN or SEMH.
The ability to teach up to KS3 or KS4 level, with support.
A good level of literacy and numeracy.
Pay: You will start at a rate of £45.78 per 3 hour session with an additional £5.53 of holiday pay, going up to £52.32 + £6.32HP on passing your 5-week induction.

Training
One off induction day – 10.00am – 4.00pm
Five Tuesday afternoon induction training sessions- 4.30 – 6.00pm
Ongoing professional development on Thursday afternoons – 4.30 – 6.00pm
Weekly training is paid at £13.15 + £1.59 per hour. You will be teaching and training simultaneously.

One to one teaching is the foundation of all our work. It takes compassion, creativity and patience, and the results can be truly life-affirming. Role
This is an in-person role during term-time, however there are opportunities to work from home during the periods of school closure which equates to approximately 12 weeks a year. This role is responsible for overseeing the financial department of The Complete Works Charity. This consists of holding the budget for all TCW school sites and assisting the Executive Team in their strategic planning by providing accurate management accounts and financial forecasting. This role holds line management responsibilities for their department which includes having oversight of the facilities.
The role is diverse and dynamic, and will have a direct and positive impact on the lives of the vulnerable young people we look after. Our goal is to help our students learn creatively, grow socially and achieve academically – we hope you can join us in this vision.
You will need:
To be a Qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent)
To have advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience of managing a financial team
Experience of budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning

To be willing to embrace change and challenge processes to improve efficiency
To be able to manage workloads and priorities and work under pressure

Role
The Student Welfare Officer’s role is to deliver programmes of pastoral care, wellbeing support and personal coaching to our students, on a one to one basis. The sessions are highly bespoke programme and based on the unique needs and personality of the students. The SWO will have the freedom and flexibility to create and deliver these programmes as they see fit, working closely with the education, interventions, counselling and safeguarding teams to ensure that TCW students are safe, protected and happy. By offering this highly specialised pastoral care the role ensures that all elements of their students’ TCW experience is catered for and they are in the best position possible to both engage in their current studies and be prepared for their next steps.
We are looking for a fantastic communicator, both written and verbal who has a have a real passion for education. You will need to be able to manage your workload and help others while maintaining a level head.

All TCW teachers are responsible for delivering education to small groups of students or individual students using creative approaches to help them reach their academic potential. The students are referred to us for a variety of reasons which mean they are not able to access mainstream education. Reasons for this include students with SEN, medical needs or those that have been permanently excluded.
The Complete Works School is looking for enthusiastic and committed teachers with different specialisms to join our outstanding team. The appointed candidate will be well supported by excellent induction/training programmes and an extensive bank of resources and schemes of work.
This role will be working alongside Teachers, who are responsible for planning and leading the lesson. This role can be based on or offsite or a mixture of the two. It will also involve assisting students with travel, support on trips as well and general ad hoc duties to assist with the running of the centres.

My timetable was well managed and it was obvious that care had been taken to make sure that I got the best out of my experience. I knew exactly who to contact and who to speak to if I needed any support and everyone was very responsive and happy to help. I only spent a short time at TCW but it felt like that everyone went above and beyond to make sure that I could make the most out of the experience and gave me as many opportunities as they could. It was a pleasure to be a part of TCW for a short time.
